 Have you ever sat in front of your note book and cry?
I just did an hour ago. I never thought my laptop would fail me at the most crucial hour; to submit my assignment. =( I was literally late for 30 mins because I reboot my computer twice, tried connecting to the internet thrice and every page took almost four mins to load. That, taught me a lesson. Never procrastinate and never trust the network (even your notebook). But thank God I still managed to submit it successfully and still able to sit and blog with my same lappy. Thank God it did not crash on me forever. (Suddenly feel like asking my lappy what happen? if only it could talk.) Anyway, I did this assignment really slipshot and I guess only me, I & myself knows what I'm writing about. That's it. I think love is to be in another's shoe. To do and give what's best for another. It is not self-centered. Every thought and action must be re-considered; they must be of benefits. Yes, to me, love builds on trust. So what exactly is love all about? Is there really such thing as "love hurts"? The dictionary.com says love is: 1. profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. 2. feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend. 3. sexual passion or desire. 4. person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart. 5. (used in direct address as a term of endearment, affection, or the like): Would you like to see a movie, love? 6. a love affair; an intensely amorous incident; amour. 7. sexual intercourse; copulation. 8. (initial capital letter) a personification of sexual affection, as Eros or Cupid. 9. affectionate concern for the well-being of others: the love of one's neighbor. 10. strong predilection, enthusiasm, or liking for anything: her love of books. 11. the object or thing so liked: The theater was her great love. 12. the benevolent affection of God for His creatures, or the reverent affection due from them to God. 13. Other than 12, seriously, how much does this definitions tell us? They are either very vague or some are even extremely self-purposed. Perhaps it is some of these misconceptions of love that led many to think they're hurt by "love" when in fact they're hurt by their self-pity or self-centeredness. Still.. I may be wrong but I definitely can find a better explaination and teaching of love. Read this with me: Love never gives up, Love cares more for others than for self, Love doesn't want what it doesn't have, Love doesn't strut, Doesn't have a swelled head, Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep score of the sins of others, Doesn't revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end. He is the best person to explain "love" because He not only teach us "love" or create "love"; God Himself is LOVE. There are many mysteries and gold in the Word of God. Even before you were conceived, God has provided every essentials for your entire life. He has prepared all of them and placed them all around in the Bible. If you're still looking for an answer in life, rest assured that you can find it in His Word. Praise God for His wisdom and love for all of us. "Love is patient, love is kind.  No matter how gloomy is my day; when I look out of my windows, I'd feel a certain peace that'd surge from within. It is Him. Praise God for the beautiful nature He had created. In one month's time, I'd received my one week of mental freedom from school. Though it is only one week, you don't know how much I'm yearning for it. I have never in my life felt so pressured with my studies. But thank God, He is my counsellor. If not even before I start practising as a psychologist, I'd be seeing one soon. The amount of distress is unbelievable. Today had a presentation and I, obviously, didn't do well. I was distracted and don't even know what I was blabbering about. It was a mess. I didn't even stay for the class, went off during the break. Then I went to the clinic, the doctor gave me two days MC (won't use it anyway) and told me to rest well. Even as I'm typing now, my mind is counting down to the due date of the next assignment. Gosh. I really need concentration. Hm. It's time to go. This period of time, I realised the fullness of joy, indeed, is serving the Lord. Even though I may need to spend time and effort in preparing to serve, be it in Sunday School, Oikos, Service Counter or Music Ministry, I often feel more re-charged after serving rather than tiredness. Perhaps God is joyful when He sees His people serving Him, so like the Word says "For the joy of the Lord is our strength!" - Nehemiah 8:10. Praise God! The Lord is good and faithful. You need to come and know Him personally. This friday will be Good Friday, receive Him as your personal Saviour! Saturday, March 15, 2008 Dream No More?

Super sleepy. Did not sleep AT ALL last night. Came straight to office at 7am. Now my eyeballs like popping out. And when I saw the email from my lecturer, I thought my eyeballs had really popped out. Just down with one assignment and not even started with another due on 10 Mar, my lecturer said he will give us the next assignment on Wed. Gosh. In fact, I've deadlines on 10, 17, 24, 31. So many assignments... Argh. I really don't want my Uni life turn into my worst nightmare. All right, let me be slightly more positive. 16 months, I'll will reap my reward. Hang on Katherine! 17 mins countdown. My eyelids weigh a ton now. Bye bye.
