Been writing really badly here lately. Perhaps Singlish do help to unleash some "prim & proper" stress. ^_-
Study schedule is out. Really need a direction from God; to continue or to defer? It's definitely a NO NO to have classes on Sundays. Then again, should I just drop that subject and continue with two modules or should I shift the entire term back till January? Jesus show me the way.
You know. In the midst of all the mind puzzling things, I still feel extremely excited about the things that are happening in the spiritual realm, in church, in the youths, in the people around me. I know God is preparing His army. It's Day 17 of Operation 40 and WE ARE STILL PRAYING. =)
Have been craving for books about prayer (the prayer season's craving!). Just finished a book by Stormie Omartian called "Prayer that changes everything". It's like the beginning of a journey of praying, teaching me the importance of prayer and how as the Word says "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Luke 11:9) What a wonderful promise. Sometimes, what we want is just behind that door, all we need to do is to ask Jesus for the key to that door and "ta-daa" it's done! =)
Currently I'm reading a book by Joyce Meyers called "The power of simple prayer". It broke all my rigid mindsets about how prayer WAS to be. But in fact, prayer can be just as simple as talking to someone you loved. God is our friend, our good friend and should be our best friend! There must be so much that we want to share with Him! Prayer is the way we can freely communicate with Him without having to fake or hide anything, or to fear about what He may think about us because He knows all things. All that is in our mind, our heart and all our emotions and feelings, He knows them all. God is so good. He listens and He provides. =)
